FOR OVER 27 YEARS, THE IAAM Foundation
has worked for the advancement of the industry, providing new resources and
programs thanks to the commitment and generosity of thousands of donors and
volunteers… and golfers, riders, and shoppers! We would like to extend a
special invitation for you to enjoy three fundraising traditions this July
in benefit of the IAAM Foundation: The Carl F. Hammond Memorial Golf
Tournament/Foundation Friday presented by MillerCoors™, IAAM Foundation
Friday Harley Ride, and the IAAM Foundation Silent Auction presented by the
Comcast-Spectacor Family of Companies.
The
Carl F. Hammond Memorial Golf Tournament/IAAM Foundation Friday Golf
Tournament presented by MillerCoors™
You will not want to miss The Carl F.
Hammond Memorial Golf Tournament/IAAM Foundation Friday Golf Tournament
presented by MillerCoors™ on July 23, 2010 at BlackHorse Golf Club in
Houston, Texas.
BlackHorse is a golfer’s experience unparalleled in the
Lone Star state. The course, designed by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy, is
one of the country’s top public golf courses. With two 18 hole courses that
provide landscapes like nowhere else in Houston, BlackHorse Golf Club is as
challenging as it is beautiful. This is golf presented in a unique way, with
rolling hills, wetlands and majestic trees not normally found in the Houston
area.
IAAM allied member MillerCoors™ headlines the 2010 Golf
Tournament for the fourth year in a row in 2010. Phil Blavat, director,
on-premise accounts, commented, “We highly value our IAAM customers and the
relationship-building opportunities
the golf tournament offers to everyone. What we want to see this July is our
venue friends, old and new, taking the time to build relationships and enjoy
a little golf. We’re glad to be a part of it.”
Generosity and personal commitment to IAAM and the
public assembly industry is the true success behind this enjoyable day of
golf. Thanks to a rich history of dedicated allied leadership, Foundation
Friday has become a part of the IAAM membership experience and continues to
be a classic combination of business development, networking, sports,
relaxation and philanthropy.
Register before June 29 to receive the special rate of
$175 and $195 after June 29. Your day of networking and enjoyment includes
transportation, greens fee, driving range, locker, bag tag, breakfast and
lunch, prizes, golfer gifts, and extras at holes, and of course, a full
complement of MillerCoors ™ beverages. To register, or for more information,

tradition with a purpose: to enjoy some friendly bidding competition on
exciting items that in turn raises funds for the IAAM Foundation’s grants
and programs. This fast-growing, highly supported event will be offered both
online AND live at VenueConnect, the 85th Annual Conference and Trade Show.
You can participate from anywhere in the world, placing your bids at

“IAAM keeps venue managers at the leading edge in
skills, trends and approaches. And many of the IAAM programs that benefit
our employees and the industry at large got their start through IAAM
Foundation support. This is a way to support an enjoyable event and at the
same time invest in the future,” said Mich Sauers, senior vice president of
business development for Comcast-Spectacor.
