Through the Legacy Award, the IAAM Foundation recognizes and celebrates ARAMARK and Charlie Gillespie for the highest level of leadership, generosity and unwavering commitment to the public assembly industry, leaving a legacy for future generations. A longtime IAAM member and committed supporter of IAAM’s leadership development and workforce readiness programs, ARAMARK, and Charlie Gillespie specifically, have been instrumental in spearheading fundraising for the Foundation within the concessions industry, including a major financial contribution by ARAMARK and significant ongoing annual support. Because of this leadership and commitment, thousands in the public assembly workforce have received valuable training in safety and security, customer service, and responsible business practices that result in a higher quality of life in their communities.

The piece created for the Legacy Award was made by Lachezar Boyadjiev, an award-winning optical glass artist, and represents the towering impact made on the industry as well as the IAAM Foundation itself.

With over $2.8 million awarded in funding, the IAAM Foundation is celebrating significant progress made in advancement of the public assembly industry, thanks to thousands of donors responding to the call for support from hundreds of volunteers over its history.

Thank you, ARAMARK, and Charlie Gillespie, for the legacy you have created and the work you continue to do each day for the advancement of our industry. Congratulations!
