The Department of Homeland
Security (DHS) in cooperation with the International
Association of Venue Managers (IAVM) offers you a
variety of FREE Safety and Security
Programs.
Part of the DHS mission
is to work directly with individuals and through trade
associations to foster dialogue on a full range of
issues and challenges faced in the post 9-11 world.
This webpage will provide information on the variety of
course and program that are available to public assembly
facility management to enhance security awareness,
preparedness and response, and
prevent terrorist activity.
IAVM works with the DHS
Office of Infrastructure protection on an ongoing base
to offer you recourses that will ensure the highest level of safety at public
assembly facilities.
