Launched at VenueConnect 2015 in Baltimore, this program focuses on identifying and developing the talent of venue industry professionals, 30 years of age and under, through increased access and exposure to industry networking and thought leadership. The program provides year-round continued education for professional growth in the venue industry and helps program participants become better, more productive employees.

The Class of 2020 was selected last year, however, the typical celebration of our recipients at our annual conference and trade show did not occur as in previous years due to COVID-19. The Foundation Board of Trustees decided that these deserving individuals will be with us in person at the VC21 event, August 2-5, 2021 in Atlanta, GA.

Those recipients will receive a travel stipend of $800 and complimentary registration to attend the conference. Honorees will be recognized throughout the annual meeting and formally at the Venue Industry Awards luncheon.

As a result, a new class will not be selected in 2021. We are hopeful that our industry will return to some normalcy and proceed with a new class in 2022. If things change due to circumstances beyond our control, we will announce them via the IAVM Foundation website, the IAVM Newsletter, blog posts, etc. If you have any questions, please reach out to IAVM HQ at: foundation@iavm.org.
