The IAVM Region 6 Biennial Conference on April 5-8, 2020 will feature educational sessions geared toward both seasoned industry veterans and young professionals alike. Sessions will include:

  • Northwest Arkansas: A Case Study in How Arts & Culture Contribute to Community Growth
  • Falconry-Based Bird Abatement in Outdoor Venues
  • How Trendy are You? (Experiential Marketing)
  • The Enneagram at Work in the Workplace
  • Creating an Emergency Action Plan for Your Venue
  • Are You Using Social Media to Your Advantage?
  • Having an Inclusive Venue Goes Beyond ADA Guidelines
  • How to Build a DEI Culture from the Ground Up in 18 Months
  • Business Impacts of Marijuana Legalization in Venues
  • The Business of YOU (Young Professionals Career Development Session)
  • Conference Keynote – It’s a Balancing Act: Mental & Business Health
  • Steps for a Zero Waste Event

There will also be three optional activities to choose from on Sunday, April 5th at a small cost for those who are able to come in early. For those who are unable to arrive early or would like to do more than one, one of these optional activities is available again on Wednesday, April 8th.
