**To be eligible to apply, applicants must be a graduate of either VMS or the VMA Venue Management School.

NEW 2018 Processess and Policies

In order to improve and streamline the student experience, IAVM has made the following changes to Venue Management School Graduate Institute 2018:
  • VMS GI is now a registration process instead of an application process. If there is space available, the system will automatically confirm your registration.
  • If the class is full, you may add yourself to the waitlist. Individuals on the waitlist will be confirmed as space becomes available.
  • IAVM Members are able to exclusively register through December 14, 2017.
  • As of December 15, 2017, both Members and Non-Members may register on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • If your attendance is dependent on receiving an IAVM scholarship, you can register after receiving it, as we proactively hold back spaces for IAVM scholarship recipients.
  • A link to reserve your housing will be included in your registration confirmation email. Oglebay Resort and Conference Center will process your housing reservation and payment directly.
  • Payment is due in full my March 1, 2018.

2018 Registration Rates

These rates are for registration only.  Attendees must book their housing through Oglebay Resort and Conference Center and stay at the Resort during the school. For Room & Board, please see the Travel page for more information. 

See below for 2018 Registration Rates:
Member registration rate is $1,100. If you are an IAVM member at the time of registration, you must register under the Member rate.

Non-member registration rate is $1,400. As a benefit to your registration, you will receive a 1-year IAVM membership that will begin in late summer 2018. 
**If an individual has previously been an IAVM member, they are not eligible for the 1-year member registration benefit.


All payments must be submitted in U.S. funds. Registration payment is due in full by March 1, 2018. If you do not pay by the deadline, IAVM reserves the right to cancel your registration and assess the corresponding cancellation fee below. 

NEW 2018 Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing. You may send your request via email to meetings@iavm.org, via fax +1 (972) 906-7418 or via mail to IAVM Meeting Registration, 635 Fritz Drive, Suite 100, Coppell, TX 75019, USA.

Cancellation fees are calculated based on the full cost of registration and the date you submit your request, as described below:
  • Cancellation request submitted on or before March 1, 2018: $200 fee
  • Cancellation request submitted after March 1, 2018: $500 fee
**Attendees are also responsible for cancelling their housing reservation through Oglebay Resort and Conference Center, which may incur an additional fee based on their cancellation policy.

Photo Waiver

By attending this event, you grant IAVM the right to photograph you and your property. You also authorize IAVM to copyright, use, and publish said photographs with or without your name for any lawful purpose.
